"Let not your hearts be troubled. Believe in God; believe also in me." (John 14:1)
As the final days of Jesus’ public ministry drew to a close, the disciple finally understood their master would depart from them.
This fact left them anxious about their future and likely dumb founded about the Messiah’s plan for establishing the Kingdom of God. Those uncertainties made them very apprehensive and uneasy. Jesus admonished them - trust him.
As we enter a new year we have no idea what the Lord has for us. [He has prepared our year in advance.] For some, they will grow in prosperity, for others they will grow in adversity. Either way our growth greatly depends on trusting the Lord. He knows best.
Happy New Year
